The agreement
These terms are between you and The Tested Stack ("we", "us"). By using this site, signing up for the Friday email or getting a skill from us, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 to buy from us. If you use the site or a skill for a business, you agree to these terms on that business's behalf.
What we publish
The Tested Stack publishes hands-on software reviews, digital marketing education and AI resources. Our privacy policy, cookie policy and disclosure also apply when you use the site.
Our reviews
Our reviews are our opinion, based on our own hands-on test at the time we published. Products, prices, upsells and refund terms change after we test them. Check the current sales page and refund terms before you buy. A review is not a guarantee that a product will work for you.
Affiliate links and sellers
Some links on this site are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you buy through them. We say so above every affiliate link, and our disclosure explains how it works. The products we review are sold by third-party sellers, not by us. Your purchase, payment, delivery, support and refunds are between you and the seller, under the seller's terms. We are not responsible for a seller's product, service or conduct.
Lessons and articles
Our digital marketing lessons and blog articles are general education based on our own experience. They are not legal, tax, financial or professional advice for your business. Marketing results depend on your business, your market and how you apply what you learn, so we cannot promise any outcome.
Using our Claude skills
When you get a skill from us, free or Pro, you can:
- use it in your own work, and in work you do for your clients;
- change it to fit your brand.
You cannot resell it, share the skill files publicly, or publish them as your own product. This permission ends if you break these terms.
Pro membership
Pro is a paid membership. It gives you the full skill library, new skills as they are released, updates when Claude changes, and the live build sessions.
The price, billing period, renewal, cancellation and refund terms for Pro are shown at checkout before you pay, and form part of these terms. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card details.
AI output
Our skills run on Claude, which is made by Anthropic. Claude can make mistakes. Check what a skill produces before you publish it, send it or rely on it. You are responsible for what you do with the output. Your use of Claude itself is covered by Anthropic's terms, not ours.
No income claims
We do not promise that any product we review, any lesson we teach or any skill we sell will earn you money or win you clients. What you get from them depends on your skills, your effort and many other factors.
Acceptable use
Do not use this site to break the law, to send spam or malware, to scrape or copy our content in bulk, to get around our security, or to pretend to be The Tested Stack or someone else. We may block access for anyone who does.
Community and email
Our community runs on Skool, and Skool's terms apply there too. Be useful and respectful. We may remove anyone who spams, harasses other members, or shares Pro skill files outside Pro. You can unsubscribe from the Friday email at any time using the link in every email.
Who owns what
We own the reviews, lessons, articles, screenshots, skills, this site, and The Tested Stack name and logo. You may quote a short passage with a link back to the page it came from. You own the work you create with a skill. If you send us feedback or a product tip, we may use it without paying you. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC, and we are not affiliated with Anthropic or with any company whose products we review.
Disclaimers
This site, our content and our skills are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We work to keep reviews and prices accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is current.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, that come from using this site, our content, a reviewed product or a skill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid us nothing. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Changes
When these terms change, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects Pro members, we will tell them before it takes effect. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
